Job Title: Licensed Funeral Director/Event Coordinator

Location: Coquitlam, B.C.

Position: Full-time

Salary: $30 – 33/hour (based on experience and skills)

Benefits: After 3-month probation period

Qualifications:
 Licensed Funeral Director with the Province of B.C.
 Valid B.C. Driver’s License with a clean driving record
 Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, Canva, Word, Adobe, and Spotify, or a willingness
to learn.

Responsibilities:
 Share responsibility for after-hour calls.
 Oversee initial client calls and home meetings to arrange funerals.
 Manage all details, liaising with crematoriums, cemeteries, morgues, and other involved
parties.
 Adhere to all B.C. laws and regulations.
 Ensure meticulous documentation and attention to detail.
 Provide compassionate, transparent service and empower clients with information.
 Collaborate effectively as part of a team and independently.
 Display strong critical thinking skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
 Maintain professional communication and business attire.
 Capable of handling physical tasks.
