An exciting opportunity exists for a Licensed Funeral Director
in Qualicum Beach/Parksville, BC

Our family-owned and operated funeral home is growing and are seeking another licensed Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate would have excellent interpersonal and organization skills, an ability to multitask, and exceptional attention to detail. They would also have experience in arranging and directing funerals with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to plan and arrange funeral services

• Coordinate all aspects of visitations, services, and burials/cremations

• Prepare and file legal documents, including death certificates and permits

• Oversee embalming or sanitary prep, dressing, and cosmetology when needed

• Assist in managing pre-need and at-need arrangements

• Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations

• Provide support and comfort to grieving families

Qualifications:

• Valid Funeral Director’s license in British Columbia

• Experience in funeral directing and/or embalming preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• A genuine desire to serve families with dignity and compassion
