An exciting opportunity exists for a Funeral Director Apprentice at our Fraser Heights Funeral Home in Surrey BC.

Overview:

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of funeral services including scheduling arrangements, services and visitations. Critical to the success of this operation are flawless execution standards combined with a thorough understanding of our clientele.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• In year 1 or 2 of funeral school in BC
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Available to work some evenings & weekends
• Strong computer skills
• A willingness to participate in community organizations
• Superior organizational skills
• Full understanding of all aspects of funeral services and arrangements
• Full commitment to company objectives and policies
• Must be detail oriented and able to meet all deadlines efficiently
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Possess a “team player” attitude and mentality

Pay

• $27/hr for a 1st year student – $28/hr for a 2nd year student
