Erin serves as a Director on the BCFA Board of Directors

Erin MacPherson is the Manager of Richmond Funeral Home and has more than 15 years of experience serving families and leading funeral service professionals. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in funeral operations, team leadership, community engagement, family service, education, and business development.

Erin is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for families while fostering a culture of professionalism, kindness, integrity, and accountability among her team. She is recognized for her strong communication skills, collaborative leadership style, and ability to balance compassionate care with sound business practices.

Beyond her professional role, Erin is actively involved in her community, serving in volunteer leadership positions with organizations supporting children, youth, families, seniors, and local community initiatives. These volunteer roles reflect her commitment to fostering connection, supporting people at every stage of life, and strengthening the communities she serves.

Away from work, Erin’s greatest joy is raising her young son and sharing in the many adventure that come with an active family life. A lifelong Richmond resident with deep generational roots in the community, she enjoys spending time in Steveston, supporting local events, staying active, and making meaningful connections with family, friends, and neighbours. Her love for community and people is at the heart of everything she does.

Erin is passionate about advancing the funeral profession through education, mentorship, innovation, and meaningful community connection. She is honoured to be considered for the BC Funeral Association Board of Directors and looks forward to contributing her experience and perspective to the future of funeral service in British Columbia.
