David is a Director on the BCFA Board.

David has been privileged to serve the funeral profession for the past 18 years and currently serves as General Manager for the Victoria Market on Vancouver Island with SCI Canada. A third-generation funeral director, he proudly follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, continuing a family legacy of service, compassion, and care for families during some of life’s most difficult moments. Born and raised in Victoria, he is honored to serve the community he calls home.

David is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and talent development.  He has served as a mentor within his company’s leadership development programs for several years and believes that investing in people strengthens both organizations and the profession as a whole.

Outside of work, David places a high value on family and enjoys spending time with his wife, Hardeep, and daughter, Priya.  Whether coaching, camping, gardening, or exploring the outdoors together, he values every opportunity to create lasting memories.  David enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is especially proud to help coach his daughter’s youth program.  He also enjoys cycling and other outdoor adventures with his family.
