Licensed Funeral Director/Event Coordinator

Location: Coquitlam, B.C.

Position: Full-time

Salary: $33 – $38/hour (based on experience and skills)
Benefits: Negotiable

Qualifications:

• Licensed Funeral Director with the Province of B.C.
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, Canva, Word, Adobe, and Spotify, or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Share responsibility for after-hour calls.
• Oversee initial client calls and home meetings to arrange funerals.
• Manage all details, liaising with crematoriums, cemeteries, morgues, and other involved parties.
• Adhere to all B.C. laws and regulations.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and attention to detail.
• Provide compassionate, transparent service and empower clients with information.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Display strong critical thinking skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Maintain professional communication and business attire.
• Capable of handling physical tasks.
